A couple of years back an NRI a friend of ours visited us. I had prepared some Indian delicacies in his honor. In between I attended calls on my mobile and messeges on my PC. He (guest) remarked, Wow ! bhabhi you have gone hi tech. I just smiled.
During those days my daughter was staying in London. I was frantically keen on talking to her on ‘skype.’ I insisted my hubby to buy a LapTop for me “We have a PC ”he remarked , “ Why cant we buy one LapTop” i insisted again. “ Do the young ones only need it.?” My thoughts raced to the ad of famous actress Kareena Kapoor flambyontly dressed and displaying my favourite colour(red) Laptop. I wanted desperately. It had all the recent software applications and above all the model was sleek and light weight.
My daughter was thrilled to see this beautiful piece on my bed.
“Your Dad gifted me.” .I exclaimed. Seeing her on the screen and talking had appeased my anxiey. “Mom! Why don’t you open a blog?” I was new to this term. Soon I learnt to write my blog. Now daily after my household chores I dash to my bed and do all the reading writing and listening to music on my lap. On my cosy bed .
The adventure does not stop here.
As I open my mail, there are warning of hackers! Etc.
But there are mails from my new Facebook friends. Daily chatting , commenting and writing sharing our thoughts has opened new vision to my mind.
Change has definitely come in our home with the change in me.
I saved all my important information in separate files. And stored them in my pendrive. Instead of carrying my laptop I carry my pendrive at outstation. I consider my Laptop most precious .
All the informations etc are getting nano…compressed…smaller and smaller. The technology deals with atoms the smallest particles of a matter. But the decoding of atom, it consists of particles, the electrons and protons..which are infinitial small particles , they are the base of recent research .
My study in spirituality deals with abstractness . The Yogis travel in space through such fine (atomic) level bodies, I learnt.
The West is also in the race to travel in space and are reaching the distant stars. Men have walked on the Moon years back. Now the distant planet (Mars) is our next destination. Another decade will unravel the truths of Mars how mankind can make the place habitable.
The Recent Kepler Telescope
"is specifically designed to survey our region of the Milky Way galaxy to discover hundreds of Earth-size and smaller planets in or near the habitable zone and determine how many of the billions of stars in our galaxy have such planets." I receive mails(videos) from n no of foundations. Recent talks from the revered holy men, scientists . Its simply amazing! My late night working on my laptop. Tweeting , chatting on Facebook is the most entertaining.
Reading Stephen Hawking, he says we shall soon travel in Space to different planets if we survive this accumulation of Nuclear Warheads. God knows what is written in our fate if the demons get control over them.
